This energizer bull market continues to defy all odds and move higher month after month.  After finishing green in May, the SPX is now up 7 months in a row.

Since 1980, this has only happened eight times.  Sure enough, the near-term results are actually more bullish after such a stellar streak.  Going out a year it doesn’t seem to mean as much, but 1-, 3-, and 6-months after a seven month win streak and the results are rather strong.

Here are all the times this has happened.

Turning to the Dow, it is up six straight months.  Once again, strong markets usually remain strong.  Most impressive here is a year later the Dow is up 79% of the time.  These results go back to 1900.

Here are all the instances this has happened.
